Must Haves From The Little Apple Store
Have taken a stroll down Main Street in Manayunk recently? If you have, you saw one of my favorite spots, The Little Apple Store. This adorable shop has a well edited selection of things for you, your home and gifts for all. And I have to admit, I have soft spot for The Little Apple Store because it reminds me of my former boutique on East Passyunk Avenue — JimmyStyle.
This Fall The Little Apple Store has a great selection of “Must Haves.” Here’s a few of my favorites.
Ceramic Word Mugs by Magenta Inc., $18. These mugs will make the perfect gift for the holidays. Coffee, tea or hot totty anyone?
For the Home.
Eco-Blanket in Green Damask by In 2 Green, $135. In this weather, this blanket is much needed for the cozy nights at home watching a good movie. (Available in other patterns)
For the Bath.
Tokyo Milk Dead Sexy Handcream, $22. This is a favorite of owner, Molly. And who doesn’t love some old fashioned floral brocade with a skull on a tube of handcream? Bring it. I can’t wait to get my hands on some of this stuff. Girly, I think not!
The Little Apple Store is also participating in the new improved First Friday in Manayunk. This year round event presents the best Philadelphia has to offer – Manayunk style. Enjoy a special evening in old world Manayunk, by strolling down the canal path and Main Street to browse the art galleries and discover new talent, enjoy the charm of the growing shopping scene, stay for dinner at one of the many remarkable restaurants and have a relaxing night out on the town.
Here’s a list of a few other participating retailers for First Friday in Manayunk: The Spiral Bookcase, Soft Illusions Art Gallery, Cafe Volo, Nicole Miller, L’Etoile Beauty Boutique, Orbit Art Gallery, Beans, Ligne Roset, Sweet Elizabeth’s, Row Zone & more. Be sure to visit everyone this Friday, November 4.
