The Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe announce the second annual FEASTIVAL will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. FEASTIVAL 2011 will expose the region’s most influential business leaders and tastemakers to the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival by uniting dynamic and cutting edge artistic performances with world-class restaurants.

More than seven hundred attendees are expected for what promises to be the cultural event of the year. Event attendees will be treated to live performances by innovative choreographer, Brian Sanders, live painting by the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and a circus performance by Montreal’s 7 Fingers whose nationally touring show Traces will make its Philadelphia premiere at the Live Arts Festival from September 15-18.

FEASTIVAL will once again be co-hosted by three culinary luminaries: Stephen Starr, Michael Solomonov and Audrey Claire Taichman. Event co-chairs are Arts and Cultural Advisor, Martha McGeary Snider, and Real Estate Attorney, Tony Forte, of Saul Ewing LLP. FEASTIVAL 2011 will honor Former Governor and Mayor Edward G. Rendell for his pivotal role in Philadelphia’s cultural community, as well as for his significant city and statewide contributions.

“World-class cities need world-class culture. FEASTIVAL celebrates both our artistic and culinary scenes, two great economic engines that push Philadelphia forward,” said Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe Board President Richard Vague. This year’s FEASTIVAL will feature live performances by bold Live Arts artists, a culinary feast from over 75 of the city’s top restaurants and bars, and a silent and live auction. All proceeds will benefit the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe.

This year’s event will be held at Pier 9, located at 121 North Columbus Boulevard from 6PM-9PM. For more information and full list of participating restaurants and tickets please visit

*Last week I attended the FEASTIVAL Preview Party at Percy Street Barbeque that was absolutely fabulous. It was a great party! I can’t wait for September 14. Be sure to purchase your tickets NOW!
