You MUST visit Niagara Falls Canada. It is amazing. If you live on the East Coast, I highly recommend you take a quick road trip and see the beauty of Upstate New York and cross the bridge to Canada. Below are a few recommendations for “Must Do” in Niagara Falls:
See Niagara Falls from higher point of view with the Skylon Tower. This place is awesome and delightfully tacky in a good way. The Skylon Tower offers an up close view of the nightly Fireworks display. TIP: Sneak away to one of the gift shops and get lower priced merchandise, compared to other attractions.
Eat at the Flour Mill Restaurant located inside the Old Stone Inn. As noted on their website, “Everything is made to order and freshness is never compromised.” I completely agree. Along with the delicious offerings, the ambiance and décor is warm and inviting. TIP: Get a table with a fabulous velvet banquet, you will feel like a king or queen. Order the Orecchiette Bari Style and the AAA Grass Fed Strip – you wont be disappointed.
Tour and sip wines from Two Sisters Vineyards. A short drive and perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene. This place is incredible! Try one of the tastings or “Exploring the Grape” at Two Sister Tour. TIP: Buy the 2016 Rose! And if you’re there during lunch hours, make a reservation at Kitchen 76 for a handmade pizza.
Experience Niagara Falls on the Hornblower Niagara Cruises Boat Tour. Unbelievable is the perfect word for this ultimate boat tour. I was apprehensive about this tourist attraction but was so satisfied when the experience was over. You get so close to the falls, that you can literally touch the water. TIP: Get a standing seat at the front of the boat for a falls soaked experience! This boat tour is a definite “Must Do” when in Niagara Falls.
Stay at Marriott on The Falls. Ideal location with access to tourist attractions and steps away from the falls. TIP: Book a room with a “Falls View”, you won’t want to leave your room. The staff is super friendly and happy to make your stay extra special.
You can thank me later. Happy Travels!
